How to prepare for your consultation

Lots of clients have asked me, “how can I be sure to get the most out of my consultation?”

Here are some tips:

  1. Write down any questions you have for me ahead of time.

  2. I am fluent in Spanish, so don’t worry about bringing someone to translate.

  3. Use your client portal to upload any documents that you think I will need to see. You can access your portal here.

  4. If you have ever been arrested, bring any police or court paperwork that you can find before the appointment. Important immigration documents include receipt notices, copies of applications you’ve filed before, and correspondence from USCIS or other immigration agencies.

  5. If you don’t have a scanner or don’t feel comfortable with the website, bring the documents with you.

  6. Unfortunately, we can’t offer follow-up consultations without another appointment. So please remember to ask any questions you have during the meeting.

  7. If you have any friends or family members who also want to speak to me, that’s great! But they will need their own appointment.

I’m looking forward to meeting you!
